I have an 08, and to make a long story short here goes. Fob was ran over and is no longer useable. The key has worked in the past, but now it will not even turn. The steering wheel,is locked but I already tried moving it in order to release the pressure on the lock mechanism, and still no joy.

I was able to get the wheel to relax by pressing the interlock release on the shifter to get it into neutral, and this also released some,pressure on the lock making it easier to move. The still will not turn.


Any advice, and I need to get this fixed soon because the windows are still down and we have a huricane on the way. Just my luck.
