Help with a missing 6 speed manual transmission stop bolt

Hello,
Long story short I end up picking up a low millage 6th gen with a 6 speed manual transmission. The previous owner took the car to a shop due to a "no shift, stuck in reverse". After the mechanic removed the shift mechanism i believe he lost the bolt in the diagram. I have been trying to locate that bolt but Nissan tells me that it has been discontinued. I was hoping to find a fellow member who might have a broken tranny and is willing to spare that bolt or someone else who might have spare tranny on the shelve and can take a caliper to it so I can make one on the lathe. Beer money via paypal is guaranteed.
The actual nissan part number is 32181-8H500 which was latter replaced with 32181-8H50A but both parts are no longer available. The bolt in question on the drawing is in pink "32999M".
Thanks for the help in advance.

If you cannot scavenge the bolt from a u-pullit yard, look up bolt specs and thread pattern in the FSM and get a similar replacement from an industrial fasteners supplier. Ask for a grade 8-9 or high-strength bolt, and it will work fine.

That was my plan initially to find a 6 speed in the yard but so far 2 weekends in a row, 7 yards and a ton of automatic cars. I do know the size of the bolt but if you looks closely it has only half the threads and I am not sure if it rounded on the bottom or not.

You could also try looking at other vehicles that use a variant of this transmission. Tiburon, ser spec v, Celica GTS, Matrix XRS. (Other trans info pulled from here)

Good idea but so far no luck. It looks like that bolt has disappeared from the face of the earth.

Try to approach Nissan directly. I have been lied to by the dealers stating that a part has been discontinued as soon as they heard a not so recent year. The greedy bastards want to sell you a new car. Crooks all of them. Then I went directly to Nissan and the person on the phone was like "Wut?"

That's my feeling about dealers too. Calling Nissan directly was something I did not think of. After all, yes, the car was manufactured in 2004 but it has 120K original miles so in my eyes this is a new car. One of my 5th gens just 250K miles old lol . I will contact Nissan tomorrow and hopefully get an honest answer. May be i should tell them that a current owner of 2000 maxima, 2001 maxima 20th anniversary, 07 murano and newly currently acquired 04 maxima I would consider my self as a loyal brand customer lol

Krismax,

that is exactly the website I found the part on. Also there was another dealer which showed it in stock but when I called the Evanston dealer they assured me that no one in the country has that part. I was super surprised when I say that the dealer in Evenston had the part. About 6-7 years ago I was in Chicago visiting and picking up some one from the airport when the IAC valve on my 5th gen all of a sudden decided to die on me. Not sure how or why but the Evanston dealer had one in stock. $360 latter and half an hour at the Target parking lot we were back on the road and luckily without a burned ECU . Some how they were the only dealer back then which had that valve in stock. I was sure that this time they would save me again with my unusual request but no luck.
