Idle Air Control Valve
Hey, my check engine light is on because of code P0505 (which is an IACV malfunction). It has died more than a few times at idle and takes about 20-30 seconds to get it started after it dies because it just turns over without firing. I checked and cleaned the camshaft position sensors (they did not have any oil in them), so those are ruled out. What I need to know is where the IACV is located, what are common issues with them (will it just need to be cleaned or does it need to be replaced), and where can I order/buy one?
Thanks

The 6th Gen does not have an IACV. That function is taken over by the throttle body. It's intriguing that you have an error code P0505. What's available for the 6th Gen is P0506 and P0507. Have you confirmed you don't have an intake air leak?
