Hello everyone, I have a weird issue with my 6 speed manual 6th gen. For some reason the car will lose 2nd gear after the first couple of shift. Here is what is actually happening. Every morning I will roll the car backwards on my steep driveway in neutral. Once I get on the street it will shift into 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on. By the time I reach the end of my street and become to a stop and take off 1st gear will shift normally but then 2nd gear is like hitting a wall. The gear shifter will get out of 1st into neutral and then completely stop at 2nd. I have no problem shifting 1st to 3rd, 4th, 5th and so on. I have also noticed that each time I run the car in reverse and back to 1st, 2nd gear will again shift for a 2 may be 3 times and back to nothing. The master and slave cylinder are new as of a few months ago, I deleted the delay valve. The bushings on the gear shifter and shift linkage on the tranny a new as well. Not sure but I have a feeling may be a bent fork? But again why will it shift perfectly normal once the car moves backwards and then loose 2nd after a few shifts? Anyone had a similar problem like that before? The car has 124K on original clutch and flywheel? I have had zero experience with the dual mass flywheels but considering all other gears work fine I doubt that it is the flywheel? Thanks
