I have replaced regulator and motor on driver's side front window twice. Used this procedure to reset pinch feature and have been unsuccessful in getting feature to work as it supposed to...runs up and then rolls back quarter window...

Resetting
After installing each component to the vehicle, perform the following procedure to reset the limit switch.
1. Raise the glass to the top position.
2. While pressing and holding the reset switch, lower the glass to the bottom position.
3. Release the reset switch. Verify that the reset switch returns to the original position, and then raises the glass to the top position.
CAUTION:
Do not operate the glass automatically to raise the glass to the top dead center position.

Any other suggestions on how to get the window reset? Any way to determine that "the reset switch returns to original position"?

I'm probably not much help, but did you replace the window motor with OEM or aftermarket? I think Cardone Select has a video to reset the pinch feature for their specific motor. I remember doing it that way for the cardone select motors that I have had to replace. I'm on my 4th cardone select motor in my driver side window. Rockauto's warranty is pretty good.
