Hid to halogen lights

So I have a 04 Maxima sl. I love the car but hate the factory hid lights. I saw on ebay a set of halogen assemblies i like. Can I remove the factory hids and disconnect the harness at the gray connector on top of the housings? Its like a 7 wire plug and just drop and plug the halogens in there place?

Seems like you're going to be tackling this one solo bud.

I'm sure you know most opt for the upgrade to HID from stock halogen, mainly for the performance gain of seeing the road better at night, rather than downgrade their headlights.. However, just below your last post, where the site lists similar threads, I did see one other person doing this downgrade, believe it or not... It's on a 7th gen Max, though, but it's better than nothing! In fact, someone in that thread mentions having some sort of adapter that may help, might want to contact them for more info.

Good luck!
