I have a 04 maxima brand new throttle body cause of code p0507. it idles perfectly at 1000 when in gear and about 800 in park. I alos have a code for bank 1 oxygen sensor 2 hearer code. could the o2 code be also causing the p0507? its funny I have a idle code and no vacuum leaks, new throttle body and everything. I sprayed the intake all over with carb cleaner, I smoked this car in the daytime, night time, paid 150 for a smoke test nothing just a stupid p0507 code with a brand new hitatchi throttle body and a oxygen sensor heater code ill be fixing in a week or 2 but I need the p0507 code fixed to pass texas emissions test

 

If you have a new throttle body, then you need to do an idle relearn.

 

should I fix the oxygen sensor first? and also whats the proper steps for that? I put the throttle body on 2 months ago and everytime I tried the relearn it didn't work

 

Is the TB oem?

 

its a hitatchi. same brand as I took off the original said hitatchi nissan

 

Hm. Maybe it'll be unfair and far-fetched to say it has an issue. Try to scout for a diagnostic tool that can do the relearn.
