I'm looking at a 2004 Maxima that is really nice. Any concerns on buying that old of a car with 145K on it. Maintenance records are pretty extensive including drive belt replacement @ 118k. Any insights would be appreciated.

The only thing to look out for is the timing chain guides going out, the floorboards rusting out (check under car and see if there are any huge flakes of metal/rust under the driver and passenger sides), and that's all I could think of for your case. I got my 2004 at 160k and it's now at 180k. Only issues I had couldn't really be detected (CV joint boot cracked, one of my rear calipers seized, and one of my oil seals went out).

Also, get a PPI from your local mechanic!
