Problem here is: Cold start = fantastic, runs great at all temperatures.
Drive to the store, run in and out…and the hot engine stumbles upon start, sometimes stalling with strong
gasoline smell, like it is flooded.
Have to wait some minutes and coax it to start.(pumping accelerator)
Afterwards, the engine clears with some chugging, then all is fine.
Nice performance, never ever stalls when running.

153,000 miles.

 

I sorta have the same issue... It is the fuel pump in my case.

If I let it sit for an hour, then it struggles to start. Everything else, operationally speaking, is fine.
