Replacing positive battery cable?
Replacing positive battery cable?
It appears my 1 year and 1 day old alternator is fried. I took it to the parts store and they tested it and said it was dead.
One thing I noticed, however, was that my positive cables were heavily corroded. I pulled some plastic back and it's down as far as I can see.
While I'm sure this isn't the sole cause, it might be worth replacing them while I've got the thing jacked up anyway. Question is, how difficult of a job is it? I have seen plenty of videos about replacing the negative, but not much on the positive.
I'm not even seeing the positive cable for sale, so if anyone can point me to the correct part, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.
P.S. I'll check the 10amp fuse tomorrow to make sure it's not that.
