I recently purchased an 07 nissan maxima from copart (planning to pull the motor and swap into my 03 6 speed, so trying to get it running to make sure motor is good before doing the swap). It was wrecked in the front (bumper support pushed into radiator, headlights crushed, front fenders pushed back into front doors, steering wheel airbag went off. It also didn't have any keys with it. I called up a local locksmith and was told they could program me a new key/fob no problem. After charging the battery, here's what's wrong.

Working: Climate control, power mirrors, windshield wiper fluid squirting, horn, brake lights, 4-way flashers
Not working: Radio, windows, power driver seat, running lights, overhead (dome) lights, turn signals, power door locks

All fuses checked good visually and with multimeter. It cranks strong, but does not start. I'm pretty sure the new key and fob were not programmed correctly, but I'm wondering if that will cause all the other things to not work.

If your car is unlocked, but you don't have your key fob with you, can you turn your radio on with the ignition in the acc position, will your door locks and windows work like this as well?
