Early last year my alternator failed on me in my 07 Max, the guys that did the job didnt plug the ac compressor back in after doing the alternator replacement (it worked perfect before hand). So today I finally decided to get up the car and plug it back in with great success, i did the auto active test with the door jam and the ac compressor engaged and disengaged the 5 times like it was supposed to do! Thats good, when i add freon will it automatically engage or will i have to manually engage it? Thanks

 

I went to recharge it with a 12oz can and the the compressor fired up about half way through the bottle, i filled it to about 30 psi, air is ice cold now, but the black leather seats still retain too much heat 🤣😂
