Hey all. Been years since I've been on here. Friday I was at my local salvage yard and I find a 2005 se m6 car. In very good shape. I'm friends with the owner and told him I want that car. Tomorrow he's moving it up front where I can mess with it. I ran the Vin and it's had 6 owners, like 73 service records and last mileage was 137k . We don't know why it was hauled in. Could be a dwi seizure, abandoned, engine problems etc. Either way if it checks out with minimal work it'll be a score. I ran by Saturday to put a jump pack on it and the alarm goes off 4 or 5 times then the box shuts off. I need an actual battery to see if it spins over or even runs. My question is, why is the alarm going off when I put a lithium booster on it? I tried to hit the door lock unlock but it didn't help. The keys are in it and I wonder if it should have a fob. Anyway if it's not a complete disaster I think I may have scored a deal. The dent is the worst thing on it. Plastic clips are broken so the bumper is hanging. Bit overall it's in very good shape. I'll keep you all posted.
