Fuel gauge stuck after battery change

A shot in the dark but try a magnet at the gage indicator to see if it moves.

Used a strong magnet 50lbs holding power you'll need 2pcs, remove gauge cluster top cover, slide magnet up & down around the fuel gauge it should start to move the needle and used second magnet to bring the needle the rest of the way!

I would try the simplest thing first - disconnect the battery again for 10-15 minutes and then let the car run a little and drive it. On older Nissans, sometimes after replacing the battery, the dashboard or sensors behave strangely until everything “wakes up”.

If the needle still hangs, then it’s worth checking the fuses or the fuel level sensor itself in the tank. But if the problem appeared right after replacing the battery, there is a chance that it is just a glitch in the panel, and not a serious breakdown.
