I guess so. Much waste of hard earned money. The car looks like a suv. I think he needs step-side bars installed to help him get into and get out of the car!

I just got my wheels on the other day:

I seriously considered going with black wheels - I think black wheels with the tinted windows, and the car's accented chrome pieces, would look really good. But in the end, I couldn't turn my back to my preference for shiny things!

My wants were pretty simple: I wanted relatively little overall metal, I wanted it shiny, and I wanted it relatively cheap. There are much better wheels out there (these aren't forged, for example), but these 20's from Tire Rack are the exact look I was going for, and the price was absolutely outstanding! I ended up getting the wheels and new Yokohama tires for less than I had expected to pay for the wheels alone.

20" TIS 07s w/ Custom Nissan Center. A little dirty, but you get the idea.

The 19's and 20's with the drop springs look the best to me. Julian09, I love the design of those wheels, they're just too big for my taste.

Jerome nice looking max, that color is growing on me more and more.

1sik4dsc I see you got your lip on. Is your lip that low to the ground with the pro kits? How many inches from the ground? I was eventually going to get that lip

Thanks, enjoying the ride right now and not worrying about scrapping lip. Considering the H&R springs. Had issues with Eibach springs with my old 02 Max. The lowest point of lip is 7.25 inches from ground with stock springs.

its not that low to the ground, from the pics the car is a bit on an incline from the entrance of my driveway that why it appears to be so low, but with the eibachs and the lip i have about a good 6 inch clearance up front if im not mistaking

I was only willing to go so far when giving up overall comfort, and I'm not a big fan of ultra slim profiles. These are 245/35. Don't think I'd like anything lower profile than 35...but that's just me.

I just went through all 10 pages of pics of rims on 7th gens in this thread. Out of all those cars there are only 2 that looks like the owner didn't totally waste their money on buying rims that were uglier than stock. 20s are way to small for this car. Even the wheels on the Stillen maxima doesn't look that good. Whats up with you guys putting $1000 wheels on your $40,000+ cars.
If you're not going to make an improvment over stock just leave the factory 19s on there. Or if you dont have the factory 19s try and get some. Stop wasting money on the cheap ugly rims, and 22's or nothing. Look into some nice wheels like 360 forged, sevas....etc. Leave wheelsnext.com alone, lol.
Sorry just my .02cents carry on.

These 2 cars are ok, not even that good looking but only ones worth a second look, black one > white

I was about to post a response, MaxLoverAZ, but decided not to. I'm afraid you're wasting your breath, or worse - this joker just wanted to get a rise out of people.

In my experience, people with his lack of class are typically not receptive of anybody calling him on his ridiculous comments.

Moreover, when somebody posts something so clearly subjective as to say that anything smaller than 22's on this generation of Maxima is too small and anybody that doesn't understand that is clearly an idiot...well, what good is there even responding to somebody like that?

I mean, seriously. Plain M&M's are - and always have been - clearly superior to peanut M&M's - and if any of you prefer peanut M&M's you are an absolutely moron!!!

I think most of the rims on here are not too nice. There are way better options out there. I think the stock rims look better than a lot on here.

I personally think everything about the '08 Maxima is shizzle and I wouldn't own one if it was given to me...regardless of the wheels on it. But that's just me and I wouldn't head over to the 6th Gen discussion forum and call out everybody's bad taste for owning one.

I suppose I'm just polite like that.

those are sweet! looks similar to the rims I posted (KMC dime black). What do you think they'll look like on a white maxima (without tints)??

they should look nice dude, only thing i don't like about the KMC is that the center area looks too big/bulky you know, but it's all preference, get some tint too man, should go well with the black rims

yea, you're right... the centre hub is too big. I think that's the only thing holding me back from buying them - it makes the rim look smaller than it actually is. I like the Vossen VVS 078, but i'm not sure where I can get a set in Canada for a decent price.

Leave the 22's and what not to the Lincoln Navigators and Escalades and Range Rovers. Theres no need to have that big of a rim on a maxima I am sorry 18-19 inch chrome wheels are fine. just lower the damn car. Besides your adding weight to the car anyways. You could be even throwing your speedo off as well.
