Nice. Thanks. I called Konig today and they said the Netz weighs about 29 lbs. Thats not that bad considering the price. The Petrol rims I'm leaning towards are like 31-32 lbs.

Ok so I just got photoshop back on my comp. Havn't used it in about 6 years so I'm getting reacquainted. Here's my first go at it. Petrol Throttle wheels. I like the look but am not totally convinced about the weight. They are about 32lbs which is pretty heavy but how much is 'too heavy'?

I know its rough, but hey, its my first try!

New to the site and love it already. Have a 09 Maxima S, but haven't had time or funds to do much more than have Tinting done. 20% all around, cept 50% upfront. I'll upload some pics when I get a chance.

But looking at putting these babies on her, whatcha think...

Didn't receive the rims until late yesterday. They were supposed to come with the hub centrics but, none in the box. I will have to order some before I can mount the wheels.

I like the Yokohamas alot. I have Yokos on my 96 and on my Chevy truck, 2nd set for both. I have not had the s.drives though, so that is good to hear. BTW I'm in Florida, It's mostly summer here.

Lol, here in Canada we have winter 8 months out of the year sometimes so my summers better damn well be worth it. Trust me, the s-drives were worth it on my 350bhp RWD. Hopefully things turn out the same for you on our 290hp FWD.

Question: New rims with new TPMS sensors. Will the TPMS have to be reset or will the the system recognize the sensors and reset on its own?

Unfortunately you will have to go and get your TPMS sensors reset at your local dealership which will cost you anywhere from $50-$75 depending on where you go! I had to the same to my MAX when I changed out the rims!!

All I have to say is get ready to be stared at constantly because people won't be able to figure out what your ride is and what your rollin on!!!

Thanks choice. I put the wheels and tires on tonight. I will be at the dealer on saturday to get the strut bushing recall fix, so I will have TPMS sensors set then. I will post some pics up tomorrow.

What do you guys think about this wheel as a 22" but in all black with no chrome whatsoever?

Those look good but I am not a fan of having plastic center caps. I have had rims before with that setup and after about a year one of the caps fell off and I was not able to replace it because that particular rim was discontinued. So not for me...

I will have to side with choice. Don't like the plastic centers. It cheapens an otherwise nice wheel. As far as all black goes, what color is your car? IMO an all black rim looks best on a dark car.

Thanks for the comments guys. And my car is black. I don't neccessarily want to go with the 'murdered out' look since I'll keep the chrome around the doors and headlights, but I like the look of simple, spoke rim with no chrome lip.

Any suggestions on othe designs like this one?

67whitegoat Looks good..Personally I think 5 start style rims are so dated..That was in style eons ago...

Today they have a variety if rims that would go superb for your car..Think that rims dont do your hot car justice

Again, its just an opinion -

The center cap on these wheels is held down by those 5 black plastic strips that are secured in two spots each with allen bolts. So the chance of losing one means 10 allen bolts came loose.

Jptwinz, Did you order the rims yet? Put up some pics when you get them on. Curious to know how 22's ride.
I went from the stock 18" to 20" and I honestly do not feel any difference.

That's the problem

That's the problem......those bolts are holding down a plastic piece that will have to deal with the most unpredictable thing.......WEATHER.....hot, cold, rainy,........and plastic left out after a while will have a tendancy to become brittle over time....not over night.....my plastic cap fell off after having it for more than a year but it was still very frustrating. The first crack was right at the bolt secure area, and I did not tighten it down too much it just happened.....good luck though....they are still very nice rims!
