I need some help finding the right rims for an 09 SV tuscon red. I have a certain look in mind that I want but cant find the right rim that isnt 1500 bucks.

I do not want big chromes just something real clean to change to. I want to keep the 19' size also. I have found a few online that arent to bad. Need either some photoshoppers help or someone to give me some ideas on rims please!!

Here are a few that are okay.

This is what I really like.....you can tell he has rims but they give a clean look to the car.

What is your budget? Stay away from cheep chrome wheels. They will discolor, peal, and leak. Have you considered chrome wheel exchange? Of the three you put up, I like the Sterns, but I don't think they are PVD chrome.

I think at this point my number 1 is the privat vulkans in the last link. They make the car look really clean and give a nice look IMO.

I wish I could get a Photoshop of my max with those rims...

I didn't see that last link. Those are by far the best of the group. They are not cheep though and I believe those are 20's.

WTB: Factory 19" Sport Wheels. Hey guys, I posted this in here as I think there would be more visibility. I am looking for a set of the 19" wheels, with tires and sensors. I am not having much luck with people in the Classified section, (lot of bailing). So, if anyone is looking to upgrade there wheels and have a pair of Stock 19's they are looking to unload. Please PM me about it. I am def interested. Preferably not curbed and etc. Thanks Much!

I believe they are staggered, so you may need to get two of the fronts or two of the backs

If any of you guys w/ aftermarket wheels have the stock 19" wheels in good condition (i.e. no scratches or curb rash) that you would like to sell, please PM me a price and pics! I am new to the forum and just purchased a left-over 2009 Maxima SV (non-sport) w/ the 18" factory wheels. Thanks guys! Great to be part of the club!!

On a black max those might look nice. Black rims only go on black cars IMO

I think they would be slicker without the thin chrome stripe on the spokes, but those are more or less what I was planning on putting on my black max as well. Post some pics if you get them.

well the reason i like the chrome inserts is cause the door handles are chrome and ****, plus i have chrome pillars as well so i think its a nice contrast of black and chrome throughout the car, i might end up with a black rim with just the chrome lip not sure yet tho

The chrome inserts are great. Keep them or no black rims

Question

Nice wheel, questions for you:

How much they cost you?
Size?
Brand?

I have not seen one set of wheels in this thread that are performance oriented.

Congrats if thats your taste in rims, but the tires should of been low profile and not that size..

Regarding your comment on it looking like an Aston martin, its far from one with those rims

(Just my 2 cents, my opinion, I guess what counts that if your happy then thats all that counts)

Keep rocking dude

Those are 19" rims with the OE 245/40/19's. How low of a profile should one go? For economy sake, 09max07gsxr went with 19" rims so he could reuse his OE tires. Stock size with a custom look. I like it. But, if I didn't, I would't back hand his taste in rims after the fact when my opinion wasn't solicited in the first place.
My two cents.

Dj Douchebag no one asked for your opinion. I get compliments on the car all the time and am not concerned with what some broke down dj wannabe thinks. Go back to rockin your turn tables not your mouth.

Whoa.....whoa....whoa....calm down people! I am the person who created this thread way back when I wanted to get some ideas and opinions when it came to what looked good on our 7th Gen maxima's...! Trust me I love my Max to death but after thousands of post and even more people just clicking on this thread just to take a look I have received a ton of feedback mostly with people raving about my selection and a handful of people who absolutely don't like the rims I put on my ride and let me know about it..... No one's feelings got hurt I just got more insight on what people thought about it. BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY....it was my selection and I love what I picked. This whole Nissan forum is for people to express their opinions to what everyone else is doing to their ride good or bad!

My point is if you don't like what other people have to say about your ride then don't post pics for everyone to view and judge in an open forum......JUST MY TWO CENTS

Wow I did not know we had such sensitive people in our forum??? He did not blast your ride he just gave his opinion, it's what you should expect in this forum.....trust me people have blasted my ride and the day kept on going for me because at the end of the day it the selection that I love and I am rollin with it! One persons view does not change the way I look at my MAX everyday!

i think his objective is that the maxima is performance oriented, and with people putting giant heavy chrome wheels on them turning them into escalades instead of a 4 door sports car the car kind of looses it meaning plus its kind of pointless if you mod a car then put 22's that way 100lbs a piece on it

I am "learning" so much in this forum it's pretty cool. I am wondering if there are other female members. In regards to rims--while I like how they look & they can totally modify the appearance of the car--I vowed to never buy them again because the tires were just too expensive, IMO. I like seeing the modificatoins of the owners here & reading about the features of the vehicle, trim levels, etc..

Carry on...

I would agree with this and usually don't care what people say. If you look at this guys prior posts he has alot of times when he posts just to slander and smash on people. We don't need that on this board.

Maybe I overreacted but still think if your only objective is to put another member down you should just move on.

I even stated if you like it thats what counts...

So I hope you didnt take an opinion the wrong way..If u did I apologize, but then again all I gave was an opinion, must WE all apologize when we give opinions then..?

**** people dont like the rims on my 09 max either, I dont care its what the driver likes...(sigh)

The most pressing issue we should address here is that it's WHEELS, not RIMS .

Nevermind believe I found the answer. Looks like the tires are 27 lbs each and the rims are 23.11 lbs.
