Ya that's what I thought. Did you get springs or coilovers? Cuz with my Eibachs and an alignment I didn't get that much camber.

And stop teasing! Lets see some pics! What I see so far looks sick.

Nice man, looks real good. How about some details? What kind of wheels/what size? What did you do to lower it?

For those of you that change/rotate your own tires, what kind of lug nut breaker bar do you use so that you don't scratch up your lug nuts or rims? Thanks!

I bought a medium sized breaker bar and socket from Lowe's. As for not scratching, you just have to be careful as anything can scratch

Tying to get these BBS wheels. Anyone know of a good source that's competitively priced but ethical?

Wowzer man. Good luck getting competitive pricing on those. Everywhere I have seen that even stock them are all the same for price point. Maybe get lucky on Ebay? Or possibly check out a VW forum? I know those guys are crazy for the BBS wheels.

I'm looking to buy a set of chrome wheels for the Max and I have two size choices:

18x7.5 45mm offset
18x8.5 25mm offset

I plan on using the stock 245-45R18 RSA's since they're still new. Will the 8.5" wheel be okay with the 25mm offset?

The 8.5 is fine but a +25 offset may be beyond flush. My wheels are 9" with a +38 offset.

That's a .5118" difference in offset. Your 9" wheels would be .5" wider than mine, so mine would stick out .2618" more if my math is correct.

Looks good, what percent tint is on your car? Looking into getting my black S tinted but wasn't sure how dark to get. Living in PA the laws don't allow you to get too dark..

Thanks,
I got 20%. (you can get a 35%) if you have a black interior it would look darker. If you decide to go any less take in consideration having to get it re-tinted after inspection.

Lots of nice wheels... I personally prefer an open spoke silver or chrome.
