Those TSW Jarama's are b-e-a-ooootiful! But I found them on eBay for $408/wheel; how is that in comparison to some of the other rims you Maxima guys have bought, pricewise?

I'm quite a bit interested in the 20" x 8.5" (maybe 9.5") front & 22" x 10" staggered wheels by MRR, which are black mesh centers with a large polished lip.

20"s (for front) : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-MR...item53de9bdc8b

22"s (for rear) : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/22-MR...item53de92190f

My car is pearl white, and I was thinking about going with these, and possibly having the lips and center caps painted the pearl white to match (much like the white G35/37 Sedan in the eBay links above). My car will be getting heavy limo tint, and I think the black/pearl combo will look sweet!

Anyone seen these, or have photos of these on a 7th Gen Maxima?

Does anybody here have aftermarket wheels with dual lug patterns on their car? Discount Tire Direct was out of the wheel I wanted and they sold me on a similar looking set, and when they came in I discovered they had dual lug patterns, which they failed to mention. Are they going to look rediculous on the car with the unused lug holes? Does anybody make lug plugs smaller than 11/16"?

I assume you know the wheels on the link won't fit, i.e. offset and bolt pattern are incorrect and your just asking about the overall looks? If they even make these wheels in an offset that will fit on our car they will look very different as the lip dimensions will change. I don't agree with painting the "lip" but the center cap would be nice. Overall nice looking rims but I think they'll look very different when you look at a wheel with the offsets were required to run in order fit properly.

Definitely just diggin' the overall look of those. I'm figuring they're manufactured w/the correct offsets, and you can probably order them from MRR (or local distributor of them).

What is the correct offest(s) in fact that are required to run on the Maxima's? The bolt pattern on those ones I posted are for 5 x 114.3, which I believed to be the correct pattern for our cars (as well as the Infiniti's that they're listed for sale for).

Thanks for the input and feedback! I'll be in touch w/my local distributor here in Tampa, and see what he's got for me (Goodroads).

Yes they get better looking everytime I look at this page... The 22" has the wrong bolt pattern I thought the 20" was the same, it doesn't matter as I'm sure that have them available. As for offsets you can use a calculator and search I think the stock offset is 50 mm but I'm at work typing this and can't look it up. Here is the calculator: http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/

Well after much thought and discussion with my wife, and then the wheel distributor I use - it looks like we're going to be going with the 22" TSW Jarama's in Chrome. I need to find out more 411 about the TPMS ordeal before placing my order. Without TPMS I can get them for just a tick under $2k w/Kumho's, staggered with the larger dish on the rear wheels of course.

22" will look big-pimpin', be sure to put "Rollin' On 22's" on the rear windows to finish off the effect.

To each their own, but I don't care to see nice cars have their ride-height jacked-up for the sake of enourmous wheels. Install a drop in the form of springs or coil-overs and your RIDE will be crap with 22's. Air-ride would be an option I suppose.

Hey, at least there are no pot-holes in Tampa, right...?

Don't want to come off too harsh here, everyone is entitled to their own tastes. I like the MRR's better than the Jaramas, and wouldn't go bigger than 20".

Cheers.

The good news is that its my car, and my money, and my mods We can agree to having different likes & tastes, and that is the beauty of an open forum!

Have you ever owned a vehicle on 20"s, 22"s, or higher? I've had several, and have never had any issues with ride quality myself. I guess I'm used to it & it doesn't bother me as much as it may others.

Did you lower your max? I think 20's are the way to go if you do.

Nice! Keep us posted man, and post some pics!

Did you go 9" and 40mm on all 4? So no staggered, right?

I still haven't ordered my wheels, made a pact w/the Wife to payoff this last little bit of CC debt first before splurging any further (just bought 3 new cars & renovated the house before the baby gets here). So still considering the Jarama's, but also liked the Snettertons & a few other TSW wheels even. Their site had a navy blue Maxima to test-fit their wheels on!!

I've looked at chrome, blackwith chrome lip, but I've seen a number of Lexus (or VIP's ) with the polished face/chrome lip look. Have you seen any maximas with this look in 20's?not the drop, but the rims) and also what are your views on this..I believe it would look nice..just haven't seen any Maximas with this finish on their rims..most I see are chrome or matte look..

Try to find some more examples later.

I wonder how OEM smoked GT-R wheels would look on the Max, prob not too good because they have to wrap around those massive brakes and are huge. It would still be pretty cool to see no?
