I personally really, really like the Forgestar F14's. I just got back from vacation and plan on ordering up a set myself in the next few days. Delivery will take several weeks as they are made to order for your application with proper offsets.

Hey maxed out, are those four piston and two piston calipers on stock rotors? Does the brake bias feel like the stock one pistons?

FAQ

May someone please explain to me why so many people would have the urge to install all black rims on all black cars when you cant even see them? Might as well be riding on wheels with no hub caps which i've seen plenty of times to lol.

Yeah and the gloss of the rims plus having the lip eliminates the no hubcap look. Makes it stand out just enough with the red calipers behind them. R.I.P. Wait till they get here you will see!

Well style is style, but I see none in that. Maybe I prefer to ride on real forged black chrome call me expensive haha...

I've seen it both ways. There are definitely some hot cars with black rims, especially in this thread. I will admit though I've seen several cars modded with black rims and for some reason it just looks plain, or it looks dirty like coated in brake dust, or almost like they pulled their hubcaps off like some people do to get the all-black look. Sometimes when I see all black rims I have to look carefully because at first glance I think they're riding on hubcaps...

Depending on the craftsmanship/material it can change a lot. I had black rims with a chrome lip on my last whip and they looked straight. But again it depends a lot on the rims and the setup they got going on. Too much black though and it starts looking like a wanna-be CIA car or something. I think it sets off the black more nicely with some other color to set it off, but everybody has their own tastes. Personally I'm looking at some black rims for my whip, but thats just cause I think it will work with the silver well.

I think i might've made a crazy ridiculously stupid mistake but does anyone know if 20x10.5 40 offset will fit in the rears with 275/30/20 tires??

That would be a very tight fit. You need like a high 40 offset for a 10.5.

Forged means that the wheels are made out of a light metalic composite or so and they are very light weight. Most people who buy black rims buy heavy cheap $HIT cause you really dont see it to well and they think they look cool but infact they add more weight to there vehicle and that creates drag.

I know what forged means lol... I was making fun of YOU.

and ANY METAL can be forged just not "light metallic composite" or "real black chrome"

By the way chrome is a finishing process. It isnt actually forged and the entire wheel is not chrome.

And actually weight on a rotating mass is not near as important as the rotating radius. So if you buy 22lb 22" wheels and joe blow buys 32lb 18" wheels he actually has less "drag" as you put it. Just so you know.

Man so i have been tryin to find a pic of these but to no avail. I guess production on these is really slow. I goggled the wheels which brought up a camaro thread and apparently there are a couple people waiting for them as well. The interesting thing is these wheels are listed as lightweight and one of the members of that thread is actually a dealer of the wheels and said that the 20X8.5 weigh 27lbs and the rears which are 20x10 weigh 28...so i imagine the 22s would come under 30lbs hopefully. Im not a speed guy anyway i drive my cars like i cook me meat "low and slow" lol!
