O itll be all blacked out in a little... time i just tight right now...
With my springs I notice a little knock on each side when I hit a bump... I think it might be the sway bar links where they connect to the strut assembly. Anyone know if this sounds right? what is the tightening specs on those?

Thanks for your opinion... ... How you figure that fitment is weak? im just curious....
But what i try to do with my cars is keep them looking OEM while giving it my own personal touch. Once I black out all of the chrome and tint the lights itll be more complete. I am not one for gangsta rims or ones that look out of place just to be different. There are A LOT of rims that I think look terrible on this forum but I say nothing because it is their car and if they think it looks good that is all that matters... No need for me to try and impress a bunch of people I dont know on the internet.

I never thought I'd say this, but 22s or bust baby!
They're really the only way to go with these cars. Lucky for me the Vossens are failry light for being 22x9"
I'm just waiting on my Eibach springs from Stillen to get the ride height down a bit.
Let me know what you guys think.

Folks, everyone has their own opinions, and everyone knows how the expression goes. Please don't let anyone's opinion get under your skin and turn things into personal attacks.
Some of you folks are pretty new here and maybe need to re-read the rules, esp. the part about the personal "attacks". If I have to moderate threads repeatedly because folks fail to follow the rules, temporary/perm bans will occur.
I guarantee that everyone CAN behave and get along well enough on the forums here that we don't need to 'attack' other members and make my job harder here.
Just DON'T!

here's the lowdown:
22" does look kinda big but looks right when lowered nicely. The benefit to 22" is that you don't need to slam it that low to be kissing the lip. This comes in very handy when you are slammed at a fixed position (coilovers or lowering springs). Like that one dude on 22" vossen and cut lowering springs, he's actually not that low but the wheel is almost touching the car.
20" works well to as long as it's not too sunken in with nice offset / width combo. A proper fit actually affectively makes the wheel look bigger....
19" can also work well but has to be very aggressive in width and offset just like 20". Unlike 22", you will need to go lower to kiss the lip...so this means a lot of problems when going over road bumps and driveways.

Most folks don't know personally or actually see your car, so no sense getting all pissed off about it.
My job here can be tough enough without having to clean up petty disputes. I even had an "ex" member here threaten to come to my house to "beat me up" because I moderated their post.
If a member starts upsetting you with their opinion, put the keyboard down, grab your favorite spray cleaner and your vac and go clean your car instead!!!! You'll help YOU out and me too.

i brought my wheels from Tire kingdom they had to order them from Vossen who is based out of Miami.
#1262
Got some depressing news today, My rims wont be here for another month it looks like. I order them on 4/1 but apparrently they are taking a lot longer then expected. Dude ask if I would be interested in getting a different set of wheels, but my hearts already set on my Califives. Guess ill just plastidip my wheels in the meantime hopefully that will hold me over.

Love those F14's! What offset did you end up going with? Looks damn near flush with the fenders which is what I'm going for with my TSW Nurburgrings this summer.
#1265
Went with 20x9 and 38mm offset. I think I could have gone a tiny bit more aggressive and been perfectly fine, but overall I love them. Tires are the new General G-Max AS-03's in 245/35/20. I think the TSW Nurburgrings are 20x9 with 40mm offset, so they should essentially fit about the same.

Nice wheels bro car looks good. So what do yall think of this?? He said he could get me the ones at the bottom right now or stick to the ones I ordered already (2nd pic) i've grown so attacted to the ones i ordered I think Ima just wait!
#1267
Man those are nice they look real good on your Max. I know once you get her clean heads are going to be turning. Great pick on getting the 20's they compliment the ride and not the other way around if you went bigger.

I'm getting the TSW Nurburgrings custom ordered with the offset I want. If they can't go any lower than a +40, I think I can live with that! Again, congrats on a great wheel choice. Forgestar makes some great looking lightweight wheels!
#1269
I almost went with the 255, but both Peter at Forgestar and Eric and getyourwheels.com where I bought the wheels recommended the 245, plus it was cheaper and lighter and should do a bit better in the snow and rain.

spacers on top of the +38 offset he already has built into the wheel would cause serious rubbing issues on the fenders. I don't think he's looking to have his fenders rolled and go for the ultimate "hellaflush" look.
#1274
You are correct, I do not wnat to roll my fenders. I think the front is just about perfect, the rear I could still get away with a 5mm spacer I think, but I do not think it is worth the effort.
#1275
Well since my rims arent gonna be here for another month, i figured for today's project i would use a little of .org's wonder spray PLASTI-DIP!!! Damn I wish I had sport wheels but this will hold me over till my real wheels come plus i can keep the murdered look in the winter
#1276
Seeing those wheels and the offset you chose just made my decision on offset 10 times easier.
#1278
well IF he decides to drop the car.... these maximas camber in the back and when they do, the wheels will be hellasunk in the wheel wells and yes a 5mm spacer will work like a charm but u might need ET lugs. And rolling the fenders no biggie on these cars trust me, the paint may chip a little bit but nothing you cant fix
