Always park far away and on the end

Everytime I enter a parking lot I park away from most other vehicles. I pretty much always back my car into an end spot and get real close to the curb to give other bad drivers a lot of room. Even though I drive a banged up 96 I'm still paranoid.

I stupidy parked in a crowded area the other day and someone hit my front bumper!!! It was a big mistake and now the front side of my car is dented (not a bad dent, but people really need to learn how to park). Also my girlfriend was waiting in my car once while I ran into a store and see saw 3 people within 5 minutes hit 3 different cars and drive away...I hate parking lots

Of course we have millions of careless, thoughtless, even mean parkers out there, but part of the blame has to go to the fact many parking spaces are barely as wide as the average car. I often see SUVs whose mirrors stick out beyond the parking stripe on BOTH SIDES, and even my Maxima mirrors come close to the parking stripes on both sides of some parking spaces.

Stores/merchants who greedily squeeze too many spaces into their lot often never get folks like me as a customer, because it isn't worth the parking hassle and risk.

I go out of my way to park at the back of the parking lot at my job...the back aisle is full of new car owners....someone has been parking their 1999 beat up Altima next to me...RIGHT NEXT TO ME. There are at least 6 free spaces beside this car and they park right next to me. The first time I didn't mind, I figured they wanted to check out the car...They did it again yesterday and I became a little angry. I don't get why they'd park right beside me, knowing everyone on that back row doesn't want people parking beside them.

I moved my car to a new spot, if they park by me again I'm filing harassment with HR at work before I have to physically confront this person. It makes no sense

Always tough to find a cool spot in a lot, somtimes I feel that if I park in a junkyard I'll have better luck. You will always find someone who will purposely park next to you in an isolated area just to aggrevate you.
