I looked, and crawled, disassembled, and poked, and proded, and I couldn't find a way thru the firewall. I am sure it is possible, but I thru in the towel in the 9th round, i had had enough.

I put the front tires up on ramps, and the rear on jack stands and ran the 4awg under the car! I always find a way thru the firewall, but not this time. I drilled a hole thru the spare tire well, avoided exhaust and suspension, and am hoping for the best.

Also I bought a fuse tap, but no that doesn't work either. Some kinda new fangled mini mini fuse???!! thanks for that.

Has anyone determined which wires are positive, and which are negative for the the rear deck speakers??

Thanks

I found a grommet hole up front and was able to run 4 gauge wire to my JL Audio 500/1 series amp to power my JL Audio 12 W7. I love it and people think I am running more than just one 12" sub in the trunk!!! Here is a link to my ride on the JL Audio site:

Nice! Clean and simple, yet very powerful. I'm about to put 2 12" W6v2's in my trunk soon. How long did it take you to dynamat/ hushmat the trunk?

There is a Large rubber grommet in the drivers footwell, up under the dash, where all of the vehicle electrical runs into the engine compartment. take a look at my sub install pics; there is a photo of the grommet up in that post.
