My auto up on my front windows does not work

They disconnected the battery and now the windows have to be reprogrammed to allow the auto function to work.
Check out page 2-43 of the owner's manual.

Put your car in the on position with the window rolled all the way down then roll it up but hold the switch as if you wanted the window to go up for 15 seconds after it closes. Shut of the Car and start and your problem is fixed.

simply put car into on position. Roll the window you wish to fix down, then roll window up and hold up the window switch for five full seconds, then release.
that happened because you probably disconnected the neg on your batt.

so it looks like I got this fixed, at first the AUTO UP click on the windown switch was not working, only the regular window up mode worked when you had to hold the switch.
at first I tried to apply the fix and I guess I held the button to long and the power window driver side completely stopped working. It would work a little bit and stop. the longer I left it alone (I guess for the motor to cool off) the more power was stored and would start to work again...little by little.
so this morning after a few hours, I did the nissan windown restore function again and now fortunately it works. the auto mode now works.
so far the car is ok but wow there are just way too many things that can go wrong with this car. I'm affraid to know what will happen in the next few months of ownership.

BBMaxi, keep your manual handy. Cars are so computerized now that when you lose power, everything needs reprogramming. I had to redo my windows, reconnect my cell, transfer phone numbers, etc. Worst off, I had my seat, steering wheel perfect and lost those settings too.
For the brave folks, there's a "super secret" diagnostic mode that you can do other changes like camera angles, and such for cars that have the full display. Not sure it's on all the cars, but it's there on mine. (Color display, Nav)

I experienced the issue. According to my manual, power the car to ON, then lower the window, then raise the window, hold the UP button for 3 seconds after it's fully closed, and then the setting is restored. Worked like a charm.

I just did it. It worked flawlessly! I did it to all four I didn't even realize that I had auto up on all four windows! I had to disconnect my batter before because the security system immobilized the car and I couldnt operate anything so yanked the battery and i was able to ten on the car

How did you get into diagnostic mode?
#20
Follow these steps to enter [at your own risk] into the diagnostic mode.
- Start Engine [required if you want to see all available diagnostic options]
- Turn OFF the Audio system
- While pushing the SETTING button, rotate the radio's VOLUME control either clockwise or counter-clockwise 30+ clicks.
- You will then be put into the diagnostic mode.
- Use the BACK button to get to previous screens.
NOTE:
Holding down the SETTING button and rotating the volume **** a 2nd time will put the diagnostic mode into a more "detailed" state offering more options.
