Yep! Folks were not overly impressed by photos of this '09 Max that circulated last summer, but once they see it on the road, most drivers really really like it. And when they take a test drive, they like it even more. Over four and a half thousand is a very good number of Maximas to have sold in one month in the depths of a recession.

Maxima could very well be called the success story in Nissan's lineup. While it is the first year of sales for the 7th gen car, the stats remain impressive!

Hello all,

I am new to this site and just bought my maxima 3 days ago. I owend a pathfinder and went to trade it in for the titan but when I saw this thing on show room floor I left with out the truck and took home the maxima. I know i have only had it 3 days but so far I have not regret my choice.

Well, the dealer (and I) searched for 3 days to find my car. Then I saw these sales reports and it brought me down a notch in my negotiations. I thought Nissan was down 33% but the Max is up 71%.

THANKS for costing me $$$ at the table.

j/k

SlickDilver and Dad - Welcome to the ORG. Hope each of you enjoy your '09 Maxima as much as I do mine.

If you have the time, you could learn much by browsing the threads here. That would give you possible problem areas in which you might wish to check your car. Most here have had few, if any problems, but with the first year of a new generation, there will always be a few areas in which some owners have problems.

Keep us informed as to how things go with your new babies.
