H&R or Eibach?

Sup everyone,

Been awhile since I posted on this forum, got rid of my 05 max a long time ago and moved to a few infinitis since then. Now I'm back in the Max game, as I picked up an 09 Max with premium package yesterday.

I'm ready to order some springs, just needed some input on what people prefer on this car, eibach or H&R's? I noticed the eibachs lower the back .1 more then the front which is slightly odd to me.

Pictures will help too!

Both are good, but when you look at the car you will notice that the back is higher then the front, so I'm going to say that the eibachs are going to be better in this case. I ordered my eibachs and hope to have them installed by the end of next week. I think if you lower the front to much you will have some serious problems with the front of the bumper hitting bumps and what not as it is a problem already without the drop. I have a stillen lip on the front so its better that my front not be too low. Just my .02 hope it helps.

Good info, I havnt looked at the car like that to notice, I'm just use to the front always being the higher part. I will ordering the stillen lip as well, so what you said definately makes sense.

Thanks brother!

How difficult is it to put in the springs? I have no experience doing this, but I would like the car lowered a bit. What is the drop that most people are doing? Is this something that I should have done at a shop? thanks for the input.

If you have no experience putting on springs, I'd recommend you take it to a shop or find a buddy that knows how to do it. You can get hurt by a spring if you do not perform the install correctly.

Go with B&G! I just had my car measured and fitted yesterday, and they said the drop for the 7th gen is gonna be 1.6" front/1.7" rear, so far that is the biggest and cleanest drop of all the available springs. Also B&G suspensions makes excellent quality springs.

MaxDOut, what's your thoughts on the Eibach's handling and ride wise and any clearance issues?

Great Handling and it feels great. Drop is awesome and I wouldn't drop it any lower at all. If you plan on putting the stillen lip the front is very low. Soon I will have pics up now that it has all settled in. I'm extremely happy and the car looks awesome.
