I've just found cool mod from youtube, and this guy got LED on door handle on altima. here is a link.

from video, it seems like this guy turns LED on with lock/unlock button of remote, so i'm curious how he would do this.

there is no explanation of how to install LED on door handle. i would love to get this mod as long as it doesn't require major work. is anyone able to help me out? thanks in advance.

 

There's a member on this site that had done that to his nissan, do a search on this site and you should be able to find him.

yeah seems a little ricey but if you do a really dark tint on the nissan logo like a 5% limo tint and maybe do a different color like red, kinda like a NightRider look then maybe it would look pretty cool. I might look into this, but if i remember right, any red lights on a car is illegal unless you are Police.

 

Ya I was thinking about doing it to but just haven't had the time.. I don't think that if you have a red log that it will make a difference they aren't anything like flashing lights and what not so you should be fine with that although I'm not 100% sure. I was going to do my logo in blue.

 

anything red or blue, flashing or not, is illegal on the outside of the car. My friend had blue fog lights, cop said nope, another friend has simple red corners lights on his integra, cop said nope.

 

Yeah back in the days when i had my 2000 Civic Si, I had the H logo in the back that lit up a light blue and got pulled over @ 6am in the morning by a cop, he was insisting that I was trying to be a cop, all I could do was laugh at him. He got pretty pissed off after I told him that its pretty lame that I was getting pulled over for something so stupid and the fact that he insisted i was replicating a cop by an H lit up baby blue. I got a ticket for trying to impersonate a cop. What an A*hole but after that Never did the blue lights on the car again.

so it's a good mod but it requires a bit of work. i guess the only way to install LED into door handle, u have to take whole door apart. and there's an airbag and all, i mean i really like to see lighting on handle, but not worth it goin thru all that i guess.
