Bought mine in 09/2008 - 28,500 miles. By the way, does anyone know the cost of the 30K service? Anyone have a dealer in Baltimore area they would recommend?

 

I just bought my 2010 Max SV last week. Trying to decide if I should I should buy Gold Premium Maintenance Plus so I went to talk to a Service Advisor just yesterda and asked how much it would be if I didn't have the Maintenance plan. He said around $700 with the Premium maintenance as indicated in the book and he is a strong proponent of the Gold Premium. So I will buying it in a few days.

Let us know how much you actually pay when you do your service. I want to know if the guy is pulling my leg.

 

Either you are able to walk to work, live in a small town and own a schwinn or the max isn't your daily driver. Either way, I wish I could put on the same miles you do.

 

but then you wouldn't enjoy your car nearly as much. How great can it be when it stays parked more often than not..

I've had my Max for a year this weekend, and only have 4200 miles on it. Yeah, its babied and spends most of the time in the garage while the truck goes to work everyday. I use my Max mostly for leisure drives and trips. Get this, its never spent an overnight under the stars! Even when visiting family and friends they've lent their garages!

 

Officially owned the car for a month and i have 2,562 shes growing up quick

 

To use or not to use is a good option and just as fun as you discover new adventures ewach time yuoi drivew it.

 

just hit 42,000 no issues just a bent rim...lol....trust me this car will run forever....just do your engine oil tranny oil and fluid top offs and you should be more then great shape.

lol its been a busy few days but avg commute is about 20 miles one way to school(4 times a week) and i go once in the morning and one in the afternoon and my job is about 7 miles one way 5 days a week

so about 20k in a year

 

I have about 275 miles as of now on my 2010. I cant wait till its broken in so i can give it a little more Gas/RPM! No problems and runs like the beast it is!

 

Bought my SV July 4th and to date i've got 466miles. Still a baby!!

 

Got my '10 Prem. w/Tech on 3/15/2010 ... have about 5,425 miles on her now. Replaced sunroof motor, driver's seat rocks a little bit, but no other issues. Using Mobile 1 full synthetic oil, changed at 5k.

 

Purchased mine 7/7/2010 with ~35 miles on her. Had to do a trip from Key West, FL to Sebring, FL to visit the wifey's family (600 Mile round trip ). Currently have 1,274 as of right now. Will be using my 04 SL from now on for the road trips.

 

Had it 5 days Im at 130 miles give or take.

 

Bought mine used on 16 June, had 28k, now it has 31900. But I will add another 800 this weekend

 

Still trying to determine if its worth getting an extended warranty before it hits 36k

 

I would stay away from an extended warranty. They are really not worth it on a quality car like a Nissan. I had the choice on my Altima and glad I didn't do it. I hit over 70k miles and the thing was still rock solid. I did have the AC replaced but that went out within the normal warranty period.

Now on my Mercury I had 7 years ago, I could tell you about the 3k I saved by having one when the rear end went out and the manifold cracked (yes they are plastic).......

However, I did buy the maintence plan (premuim gold) and got it for $600. I figured its worth it for oil changes every 3700 miles and in cabin/ seat air filter changes, 30k mile service as well as road hazard on my terrific Goodyear RSA's lol. Wonder if I take an axe to the sidewalls if I can get better tires

 

I know when I had my extended warranty with the Civic Si (which I knew I was going to drive it hard), I could sell it back to Honda at any point and the cost was prorated back based on mileage. If Nissan does the same thing, that would be ideal.

Also know that those things are negotiable. Honda originally wanted $1100, I chuckled but declined. The guy must have known I was really not going to buy as he then said, how about if it was $30 over his cost, $870. sold.
