Removed A-pillar, air bag warning light now

I unsnapped the passenger side A-pillar cover to run a wire, and now the air bag warning light in the instrument cluster flashes and will not turn off. I did not completely remove the pillar, just pulled it loose so I could tuck a wire to run down the pillar. I saw the curtain air bag there, and I thought I was careful not to touch or move it.

It's a 2009 S model. Shut off the car, even unplugged the battery. But it still flashes. Anyone have any ideas before I go to the dealer?
Thanks guys.

Simple, you messed with a major Side Curtain Airbag component and now you have a problem.

Yeah, I kind of figured. Luckily, we are pretty tight with the GM at our dealer. FYI, I was installing speakerphones on my mom's 09 Maxima, and my aunt's 09 Rogue, and it happened on both cars.

Thanks anyway. The thing that irritates me is that I have been removing a-pillars for years to run wires down them. I guess I wont be able to do that anymore
