Moonroof accordion an issue?

![Question](https://maxima.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Had one of the moonroof's side rubber accordion things come unclipped at the top as the roof was going back, shoved the device back, and crushed part of the roof stationary glass' leading hard rubber edging.
The accordion wind device just clips back onto the roof sliding mechanism.
Just wondering if the accordion and clips are an issue and if the dealer is going to replace the whole stationary glass for a permanently creased rubber seal that is part of the glass?

I think you are not getting a response because nobody here has had anything like that happen. I know I haven't seen anyone here mention such a problem.
Knowing nothing about this, I would hazard that the dealer will replace what is the EASIEST entity to replace, because he is usually more concerned with labor time than with parts cost. So very often, a whole assembly will be replaced, rather than the one faulty component. But, as I said, I know nothing about this exact problem.

The accordion thingie on the drivers side of my moonroof also became dislodged. I just shoved it back into the slot and have not had any more problems but will keep an eye on it as now I know I am not the only one.
