I agree somewhat. They just need to reduce the size of the Keyfob and make the buttons less prone to accidental activation.

I REALLY like the long range of this key.

I usually park my car at the very far end of big parking lots. I always park under a security light, and where nobody else is parking, just to avoid dings. That also means the car is alone, out in open view, and perps can't duck down and hide between cars in order to do their dirty stuff. An added bonus is that local law enforcement often parks out there so they can view the entire lot with no nearby vehicles blocking their view.

Then, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that, as I enter the door of a store or restaurant, I can turn and push the 'lock' button one more time (just to be absolutely sure the car is locked), and see the little light on the outside mirror wink back an 'all is well' from THREE HUNDRED FEET AWAY. I can't help but smile and feel a little more secure every time I do that.

It might be that Nissan should have a 'double range' system, where the doors cannot be unlocked, or the windows rolled down, or the trunk opened from more than 5 feet away, unless we hit and release the button quickly three times before taking those actions.
