Roof Spoiler idea

There are only 2 roof spoilers currently available for the 09 max. The Stillen is a fortune and I just do not love the extreme spoiler which is super affordable. so here is my question. Does anybody know if there are other vehicles that have the same dimensioned rear window as the 09 max. I have black so the color would be an easy match. For example if there are many affordable roof spoilers for a 2005-2009 chrysler 300c (Just an example not saying it is the same size) and if it is the same length as the max window why not use that one.

If we cold get a list of vehicles with the same size rear window then we could get one of those spoilers. ths would probably only work with black since the color code would not matter as much.

I'm not sure about that one. First you would have to get the dimensions somehow and then you would have to check and see if there are any roof spoilers that would match.

Well they are normally somewhat flexible so if the length is good then it should fit. Right?

Depends on the Material used. The Extreme Roof Spoiler was very flexible but other may not be it all depends. And also the curvature in the window may cause some fitment issues if you don't get one that is made exactly for that car. If its to long it can go over the corners, if it is to short then it will look weird so you really gotta make sure that you get something that will fit.

Contacting though email or by phone is the best way that I can think of and that is if they are even willing to tell you that information.

You measure the windows you're interested in with the measuring tape and you list them on a piece of paper.

I had the same problem as you when I was looking for a roof spoiler for my 6th Gen. I didnt care for what I saw on the market. I liked the Hamann roof spoiler on the BMW. I decided to make my own spoiler. I used my tape measure and looked for a spoiler that was close to the dimensions I needed. I found the trunk spoiler of a Mazda3 fit the bill. I lopped off the end and molded new ends to fit my car.

Why not design one? Fiberglassing isn't hard. As an added plus, you can make it look however you'd like.

That's what us 5th genners had to do.

Well, actually, Ionic Dynamics did it for us...
