tinted tails and backup camera

Anyone here who has dark tinted taillights, how badly did it decrease the vision on your backup camera?

Do you mean to say, To what degree does the tint decrease the light output from the back up lights, therefore affecting the view in the back up monitor at night?

Some ppl decide to paint the taillights instead of an overlay. Do you know what kind of paint you would have to use for that?
