lexol is a great product. leaves leather feeling soft and supple and has uv protectants as well. the smell fades in a few days...a little bothersome at first.

I drive a 2010 SV too.

What product do you use on your dash, door plastic, center console plastic, and any other interior plastics?

Thanks

Also, do you clean your seats with soap and water before using the PPC Cleaner/Protectant. If so, what kind of soap/water mix do you use.

Thanks again.

I use the zaino cleaner first then the conditioner. People ether love zaino or hate it and say its way overpriced. I like the stuff and really really like the smell.

Leather Conditioner

I've got the 2010 SV, Sport (my fourth Maxima). I use the Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Aloe Cleaner (step 1) followed by their Rich Leather Aloe Conditioner (step 2). The bottles say "Moisturizes & conditions leather without changing the look or feel." So not shinny at all, but a slight semi gloss perhaps. It smells good, and it leaves that terrific benefit of farting noises whenever anybody moves around in their seats, so you know it's good stuff. LOL! Goes on quick, and I use just a touch of warm water to thin it down, ideally to enter all of the little pours in the cow hide.

I used to use Meguires for years but they leave a little too much residue on the seats even after wiping it off.

I finally switched to Blue Magic which I have been using for about 2 years now. Blue Magic cleaner/conditioner doesn't leave a residue like Meguires did. Still use Meguire for waxing though, really like their wax products.

I'll assume this was directed at me, since I posted the PPC link.

I don't let my seats get very dirty, so usually I just wipe them down with a damp chamois. If they would get dirtier - I would use Woolite cut about 3 to 1.

So yesterday I received delivery of my first ever of a Zaino product (1) Z-10 Leather in a Bottle Conditioner and 2) Z-9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner).

After applying them all I can say is WOW. These work amazingly well together with rich mate finish and the smell is very pleasant (already got compliments).

I highly recommend them and can't wait to try their other car care products.

I purchased the Zymol products on eBay, a bottle of the cleaner and a bottle of the leather conditioner, shipped to the house for $25. Very happy with this product. I've had the car for 3 months, with caffe latte (cream) colored seats. Today was my first cleaning and the seats look much better. Very happy with Zymol.

how do you guys apply the conditioner on the perforated section of the seat without having the cream stuck on those tiny holes ? Which conditioner to use to avoid this issue ?

I apply to all the non-perforated sections first. By the time I get done with that, there is enough residue on the cloth/towel to be just about right to finish the perforated sections.
