Finally got my stillen lip and skirts installed last week after having the stillen lip for about a year now. Color matching is a little off however and will need to resprayed next week. This winterfrost is so hard to match the 3 stage pearl. Had the grille painted black as well at the same time. More pics to come when it gets repainted.

gtmassive - thanks i like your color max reminds me of my previous card
white09maxima - it is about a 2 finger gap between the fender and tires for the front and back with the back being slightly lower than the front.

is it normal with the Eibachs for the rear to sit slightly lower than the front? how long have you had them on?...did they settle at all or not really? thanks

The springs are 1.3 in front and 1.4 in rear so that's probably why it's lower in the rear slightly. I've had them on for over a year and a half. I haven't noticed any settling.

Once again, your car looks great, loving your wheels
Normal Gorilla locks suck...they're universal and you can pick them up at Autozone. Check out the "Automotive" ones that come with the spinning sheath around the pins - you only get a set of 4 but i like them better because you can't really see the pin pattern if someone wanted to scope them out and order the lock off the internet and the outside spins so you cant pull them off with vice grips. honestly i know these are only going to deter a casual thief, any pro who wants my wheels will get them. been thinking of the Viper alarm with the module that detects the car being jacked up

Thanks for your reply. Although the springs look great I really like being able to adjust the ride height with coilovers and from what I can see, it looks like the car will accomodate at least 2.25" of drop all around on the stock 19's so I'm leaning towards getting them ordered this week

I'd pay 6-8k for wheels...if they cleaned and waxxed themselves every morning when I started the car and were impervious to scratches/dents. Don't get me wrong I'm sure they look nice, but for that much money there are better things to spend your money on...like a 2.5 week all expense paid trip for 2 to a tropical island.

6-8k for wheels, hahahahaha, for a friggin Maxima. If you have 6-8k jsut to spend on rims, why are you drving a Nissan, why are you not on the Mercedes, BMW or even the Infiniti m37/m56 forums pushing your ridiculous views and opinons on them.

I would agree eventhough I'm considering the $4k range tops! $6-$8k is really pushing it unless you have serious cash and in that case you likely wouldnt be driving a Nissan...well other than a GT-R of course

haha seriously, this guys frontin over here like hes rockin a ride thats superior to us, and flames us bc we dont see spending 1/5 of the price of our cars on WHEELS. I could understand a custom TT or SC build for 8k, but wheels. I guess appearances are everything for this guy.

so let me get this str8, 3PCMAX, one of your pics in your album says "WE MAKE 3PC WHEELS" yet you are spending $6-$8k on wheels??? I would think if you're in the business of making wheels you would get better prices than that or better yet just "make" yourself a set for free/cost. Also the fact that you're just leasing the car kinda contradicts your whole CASH MAN image. For the record I paid cash for my car and I own it.

Hey that's your opinion on my rims . I personally love my wheels and have had nothing but compliments on them. Yes I would have loved some 3 piece wheels but like many people here have said I could spend my money elsewhere.

yeah you right i lied since i do make em i only spend about $4k but dont think that the profit margin is much, lips are $250 a piece and you need 8 to make a set of wheels just incase you idiots didnt know. Faces, the forgings cost $250 per faceand you need 4 plus cutting in the cnc machine which is another $300 an hour and each wheel takes an hour to cut. Paint is not free you are looking at $150 a face plus lips if you want them painted as well which cost $75 a lip and there are 8 to paint and the hardware isnt free either plus i gotta pay my guy to assemble them so.... do some math and come at me correct buddy, and thats just a regular faced wheels now if you wanna talk concave its twice as much plus engineering and solid works design and all that other stuff. dont just talk out ur *** to sound cool!

wow easy there with the name calling.

aside from all the negative comments, the multi piece segment of the wheel industry is going to be losing business.

the business has shifted towards 1 piece cast that are mass produced in china, with a strike price of about 600-1200 a set for 20" to 22" respectively.

in todays economy and times, nobody in their right mind will put out 3000-4000 for a set of wheels especially when u lose 3-5 mpg regardless of cast or forged.

although they sound complicated to make and no doubt look great, i didn't know there was a market at all for them to begin with. figured it was one of those things like grand pianos that people buy only when they have money they feel like blowing.

$6k rims on a $38k car (which you can get for 29k base model if you wanted) is a little out of proportion. sort of like those people driving $10k honda civics with what looks like $5-6k worth of mods done to it. why didnt they just buy a more expensive car? hell id even rather spend that money on upgrading to a 2012 Max instead of wheels.

I have a 2010 sport/premium (without sport suspension obv) max; i want to do a drop with Eibach and 19'' or 20'' rims. My buddy tells me that i will *** up my suspension by riding on 19'' 20'' inch with stock suspension.

Will i have do much dmg to suspension overtime with above setup or should i look at adding more than just Eibach springs?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

Am I right to assume you meant to say WITH sport suspension being that you said you have a sport/premium...either way riding 19 or 20 inch wheels will not mess up your stock suspension. I think he was just pulling your leg probably jealous of ur car lol. What part of the GTA are you from? I'm in the Woodbridge area.

my bad i meant to say premium (sport package is included, but you're loosing the sport suspension, spoiler, 19'' wheels, thats the trade off i guess).

Thanks for the input, i am suspecting he is pulling my leg, and I can't say he is the guy you would listen to about cars, but neither am I That's why I asked around here.

I live in Richmond Hill; know if any shop/store around GTA i can go to for aftermarket wheels? Would be nice to have one referred; trying to avoid all the shady places.
