New PICS- Vossen 20s w/Eibach drop

After months of looking at rims and tire sizes i finally pull the triggered and got these bad boys this week. I wanted to get some opinions of the new shoes. They are Vossen VVS-083 black machined in 20x9 with Dunlop SP Sport Signature 245/35/20s. I have Eibach Prokits installed too.

thanks for the comments. I love them. I think it matches with my color scheme of my white SV premium well. Now i'm not sure if i should keep the stock grill or get the E&G Q style grill found here at CarID.

http://www.carid.com/product.php?pro...t=19644&page=1

I like the grill but I'm afraid that E&G grille will be too much bling..decisions decisions.

Thanks for the input everyone. switching from 18s to 20s on the eibach springs you can tell the difference And feel the roads more but that's expected when you have less tire between you and the road. It suprisingly isn't bad of a ride however I can get used to it. If you are used to the ride with 20s now and stock springs, I would consider the eibachs just cuz of the lower stance and improved handling. The springs still retain great ride quality as many have mentioned. I didnt need to roll my fenders either with 20s which was what I was worried about

Starr- wheel locks first thing for sure to get with the wheels. May get a second set

Ajohnson - 1 vote I see to keep stock grille. I'm leaning that way but that q grille is growing on me

Current Mods:
eibach pro-kits, stillen intake, racingline FSTB, nokya hyper yellow fog bulbs, vossen vvs-083, debadged except Nissan emblems

Possible Future Mods:
-stillen lip, maybe side skirts,
-racingline RSB when released if better than stillens
-complete catback, stillen originally but dunno now especially with rusting complaints
- racingline y-pipe
- possible replacement grille if anything comes out that looks good besides the Q grille

Thanks man, I just ordered the Gorilla Wheel Lock set, 20 locks, I don't have aftermarket wheels but I do live in an area with lots of Maximas and the 7th Gens I see are all with 18's, very few actual sports with the 19's, just figured it someone wants my wheels, I'd rather have them work for them

Once again, your car looks great, loving your wheels

Jay - the eibach springs have a nice ride with much better handling. H&r sport is the only other springs I would consider but in my opinion tend to
sag over time. Stock struts since no aftermarket struts or full coilovers that I know of yet.

LOVE the new shoes, man.

However, the E&G grille needs to stay at E&G.

Midiablo - thanks . More and more I'm leaning towards keeping the grille stock. Stillen lip may be next but afraid of scraping everywhere with the eibachs

Just an idea; being that your car has the black roof, and black here and there (rims/mirrors/grille, etc) - maybe when purchasing the STILLEN lip, paint it black for contrast, and use one of those rhino-liner type paints that has a really durable exterior coating to keep from tearing up the lip itself too terribly bad?

Not sure, just a thought outside of the box for ya!

Slvrmax - that's awesome that you got the same rims . I almost got the vossen 084s , 5 spokes but got these instead. Another person on this forum has the 083s in 22s

The Vossens are a great rim, esp. on the Maximas! They produce a great wheel! You guys definitely have a hot look going on w/the Vossens!

I personally couldn't afford TWO sets of them right now; one for me & one for the wife - so I wound up having to do a little more cost-effective approach for new shoes so that we could get two sets. We have a brand new baby girl (3/25/10), so Daddy tries to keep the toys lookin' good w/o over-doin' the budget, haha.
