32 yo, bought a used '10 SV, Black on Tan Leather, Cold pkg only.

9.5 years ago at 22 yo I bought a certified used '99 SE Black on Black leather loaded w/ all options except traction control

I just started cleaning up the '99 to post it for sale and realized that I am very attached to my 4th gen and contemplating keeping it. It's only 120k miles and looks new on the inside.

 

I'm 23!

 

If engine and transmission are solid, keep it! 120K is exceptional for that age! Gave my 02 with 160K to a family member only because they really needed transportation. Was still running strong!

 

I think I'll sticky this one for awhile because it's an interesting poll.

29- Had a '99 Maxima SE-Limited 5speed until December when I got tired of my red security light immobilizing it for the past 2 yrs. Knew I was going to get another max eventually. Impulse buy tho but picked up at '10 S, White with black leather. Wouldn't trade it for the world!

 

I'm 28 and i got my 12 maxima. So happy with it.

 

29 just got a 2012 max today

 

I’m 48 and about 25 years ago I was turning wrenches at my local Nissan Dealer. I’ve had an 84, 85, 87 91, 02 and now a 2013, just got her yesterday! People who have never driven the 4DSC don’t know what they are missing.

 

I'm 27 just picked mine up 71 mo loan so I suppose by that point I'll nearly span the three most common age groups. Cheers! P.s. No help from mommy and daddy.

 

Turned 50 this past year, picked up a 2012, let the fun begin! My daughter has an Altima and has had real good luck with it so we decided to stay in the Nissan family.

 

43. First import I bought new. 2012 Maxima Limited Edition.

 

I'm 42, 2012 SV. Bought for my wife, who hates car shopping, about a year ago, I have a co. car, so I wanted something less practical and more fun this time around, even though I rarely drive her car.
I have to admit that was not the original plan though. We had a 2010 Rogue SL AWD, that we both hated, so on the day we got this I actually brought home a fully loaded Quest first, she hated, then a Murano, kids hated, 2 different Maxi's, wrong colors, and then finally the black on black one that she and my girls fell in love with!!!

 

I'm 39, and on my second Maxima. The first was a '00 I bought late in 99 when they first came out with that gen and I was a much younger 27, so technically I should count for 2 brackets!

 

36 here. Just bought my second Maxima. My first love was a 1995 that I bought when I was 22.

 

I'm 67 and this is my 4th Maxima since the mid-80's. Also had a Datsun pickup and an Infiniti Q45 in the 90's. Superb engineering and solid quality.

 

Treated myself for my 45th birthday. This is my second Nissan Maxima. Love this car.

 

I'm 37 and bought a 2012 S in March. My wife bought her Altima last August and I really liked it. This is my first import and completely love this car. I was a bit worried about not having enough power to get around cars at highway speeds as I did with my 02 Grand Prix with a supercharger and I must say that I am very impressed with the Max!!! Now time to let the modding begin...

 

I'm 22. I've driven my parents 2000 Maxima since I started driving. Absoulutely loved the car, and wouldnt consider getting anything other than another maxima. Currently driving a 09 Maxima SV with Tech

 

20. Got my 12 Maxima last year when I was 19.

 

Gave myself a birthday present for my 29th last year. I will be 30 in Sept. I have had an Acura Integra, Audi S4, and an Acura TL.....this is my favorite of them all

 

Bought my 2013 SV Premium/Tech for my 28th bday...first car was a 89 Maxima SE so I can tell a few things have changed over the years. Second car was a 2002 Acura RL. I love this car and glad to see so many aftermarket parts available for it!

 

29 here, own'd plenty of nissans in my lifetime but all 240's. Just got my 11 maxima a few months ago for my family sedan. So far so good.

 

Packed dirt comes to mind. Oh well. You're as old as you feel...

When i was 16 I bought a salvaged 2012 Altima for 4 k fixed it for 3,500 put alloys on it and navi and sold it for 14,000
Then saved up money and bought my 2012 maxima with 7,300 miles on it
Clean title love her !

 

I like this. Good job on earning and putting in work to fix your old car, and then upgrading to something even better. Don't even know you but I'm proud of you for how you did it. Lol

 

I'm 24. Sold my two project trucksAnd traded in my infiniti QX56 for a new 2013 SV couple weeks ago. Lovin it!

 

Im 27..soon to be 28 in two days. Its my third car and 1st nissan...and no complaints!

 

I am 26 years ols. and this is the first nissan Maxima . it is 2013 maxima.. i love it very much

 

I got my 09 SV back in November '12 when I was 24. Now I'm 25 and the insurance drop definately makes me love it a bit more . I had an 05 altima 3.5se before this one, and her transmission was on the way out so, hellooooo maxi! Mods definately coming soon...

Miss my Z like crazy.

Currently in a rental 2010 IS250 while the Max is getting serviced.

I really, really miss the max.

 

28 now, 25 when I bought my '09 SV. First non-American car I've owned and I don't regret it one bit.
