JL 6inch sub to replace factory bose subs!?

I have the 2009 Nissan maxima and want to replace the two rear subs to an aftermarket JL 6inch sub. Can anybody tell me if this is possible? If so, please tell me what kind of modification I have to do. If not, please tell me why. Here is the link to the specs:

I can tell you up front that the speakers in the rear deck are 6x9 speakers. That is going to present some fitment issues. There is not a whole lot of space to play with under the rear deck either. You'd be bet served by just adding a sub box in the trunk. Other members have even reported good results from installing and Infinity Basslink.
