Appreciate the comments - I know chrome is not for everyone - I just did what I "liked". The side chrome came from AutoZone . It's 1 3/8" Cowles Brand. Chrome on the lower grill is 1/2", also Cowles Brand. I tried stopping at the dimpled area and applied it that way initially, but decided I liked it better the way it looks from wheel well to wheel well. All a matter of taste though, I know.

John,

Well done. I like that look.

It looks like your grille is different too. Is it chromed? I see some vertical lines. Can we get a description of what you've done and some pics of your grille, please?

Thanks.

Just wanted to pass along my thanks to the original poster for the recommendation - I ordered a set and just installed them today on my new Maxima, and am very happy with them. Those doors looked like a ding collection just waiting to happen.

No problem man!!! Glad everything worked out well for you. I must say i do really like these moldings, and honestly anyone who seen my car and not familiar with the 09-11 maxima thinks it came with it factory. The link i put in original post seems do have some great quality products. Before i got them put on i was always more nervous about getting dings being i park near foolish people here in NYC and people taking cabs fling their door open without care and done deal!.... Its happend to me right in front of my face! Does look sleek with them and worth every penny in my own honest opinion~

doesn't look bad, but honestly, if it came factory on the car, i would take them off and just try to park away from everyone....i would still recommend doing that even though you have the door moldings. what if someone with a higher car (like a truck) flings their door open...it can still ding the Max.

Very true. Here in the semi-rural areas south of Atlanta, there are far more pickups and SUVs than sedans. The doors on those things are near window level on our sleek Maximas.
