Sport VS Premium handling/ride?
Can anyone give a list of the exact differences between the sport and premium models?
I have the premium and I think it handles poorly and rides hard.I would expect the hard ride from the sport but this doesnt seem any better to me at least.
My goal is to swap my premium wheels for the sport wheels if i can find them and them drop it with the eibach kit and finally want to tighten it all up with some sway/strut tower bars.
Which sway and tower bars are you guys using and how much you paying for them?
and if I missed a thread on this already that answers all my questions please forgive me and point me to a link. thank you.

I changed my rims and tires and immediately I could tell the difference in the quality of my ride from the stock tires, less road noise, better road feel, better grip, cornering and acceleration.
I also have a Stillen FSTB and RSB as well as Eibach Pro Kit and it has improved my handling even more, i don't remember what I paid for the Eibach Kit, Stillen FSTB and RSB but there is a link in my sig that leads to the price for the rims and tires.
I hope you figure everything out for yourself, I can tell you are a car guy by the vehicles in your sig and I think I PM'd you recently.
Good luck
Theres something wrong then bc I rode in my friend's premium maxima and the ride was very soft, it was alot more comfortable than my sport suspension.
Depends on what you're used to. To me, the ride in my premium is a mix of sport and comfort. Not at all harsh and still comfortable with 22s. Have you tried experimenting with different tire pressures? Might wanna get that clunk checked out though.
I own a 2010 Sport/Tech and feel that the ride is very harsh, especially since i love in NY and drive on terrible roads. I understand that a sport package inevitably means stiffer ride but i feel that with the Maxima Sport the handling simply doesnt warrant that level of harshness. dont get me wrong cause it is sport and pretty level when cornering, but ive driven plenty of cars that achieve the same level of sportiness or more with a much better ride.
I agree that the tires play a role in the harshness because I swapped the stock Eagle RS-A for Hankook Ventus V12 which are much grippier and provide a smoother, slightly softer, and quieter ride.
I actualy feel that the best choice would be to buy Premium/Tech model, add the spoiler and get the sport package rims. This way you get a better ride while still getting the better looks of the sport.

My Premium rides very nicely. I have turned my Maxima very sharply at speed many times, and it is the best-turning Maxima I have owned (and I have owned nothing but Maximas for 26 years). The car stays level at all times, seems firmly attached to the road, and is comfortable for both myself and my more discriminating wife. And I am carrying 36 psi in the front and 35 psi in the rear, with 33 being Nissan's recommended psi.
Sporty cars can have a wonderfully controlled and positive ride on good roads, but 45 profile tires and a sporty suspension will always ride a little rough on bad roads, because that is simply the highly-tuned suspension and tires telling us we are on a very bad road surface.
If the ride seemed too firm for me, the first thing I would do would be sure all four tires are at 33 psi cold pressure.
If you decide to change the tires, you might consider a 245/50R18, which is a very slightly higher profile, hence a slightly softer ride.

Its all of them, the sport has a much stiffer suspension which supports the car's wight but lets every little bump into the cabin. It also has longer sway bars for less body-roll in high cornering.
I hear ya, I been leaving random notes on the sports versions every time i see one on the street hoping 1 of them will call me back and say "hey ill swap wheels with you if you give me $500 also".lol
