That is a marine audio player if you didn't know.

This isn't the type of car I would want to replace the radio in. A lot of things are integrated to the stock radio and I don't think putting in an aftermarket radio would be worth it. If you want to improve the sound you could just get a sound processor and new speakers/amps.

I suppose that would depend on your end goal. If you have a Bose + Monochrome screen setup like mine, then you don't have a whole lot to lose except that hideous orange track name display up top. An aftermarket radio with Bluetooth and an aftermarket steering wheel radio controls interface will do all of the same tricks and many more. Now the bad part ... you'll most likely have to replace the radio and the speakers at once. My '09 SV Sport has the Bose + Monochrome display setup and replacing just the head unit isn't really an option. I haven't found an aftermarket piece that lets you replace just the head unit. So instead, I decided to relive my car audio days and bought some new JL Audio HD amps, some Hertz components sets, an Alpine CD player and sound processor, and a ton of wires and Dynamat. I'm ripping out my Bose system and going 100% aftermarket.

Your choice, but I agree with the quoted poster, it's probably not worth it unless you're going to get crazy with it like I am.

Definitely! Just gathering equipment right now and getting ready for the 3-4 day extravaganza of sound deadening, running wires, mounting speakers, and screaming and hollering.
