Stillen intake

This is my first car that I decided to put a CAI and I went with the stillen. There are little gains but wat I have noticed is that sometimes the car feels very heavy and also I have noticed the filter looks like it's dirty but I only put it in may and I really use the car that much any one knows how to clean it any DIY intructions?

Auto Zone sells the cleaning kit. Wash filter, apply oil evenly and you're done.

I also thought the stillen uses the venturi tube added to the stock duct?

It is a short ram, however, if it has the heat shield it is considered CAI. Just like this one. I use the hydroshield from dirt not water.
