OK. So now, I have more questions. What's different between the 2011 and 2012 sport grille? Also, why not paint your existing grille?

They are quite different. I never noticed that the 2012 doesn't have mesh.

I just went out and looked at mine, and there's no mesh...lol

the OP changed his bumper to a brand new one because of some curb rash underneath? i hope he realizes he couldve paid that body shop like 100 dollars max to repair the scuffs.

This is a replacement grill I ordered from Nissan. It came stock with the 2011 Sport Package, probably others as well. FYI I used a VIN from a 2011 Sport to have Nissan order the part.

If you're asking me, I paid around $230 and picked it up at my local dealer.

My car is the same color. I like the look of the after pic a million times better. I'll probably remove mine and paint it soon. Is the new grill black? Charcoal? Dark gray?

The new grill is definitely gloss black. The old grill mesh (you probably have this one) was sort-of a charcoal/gray color. Here's a better pic:

I also removed the front plate and holder and plugged the holes on the cheapo. I bought little plugs from autozone, sanded them, and applied touch-up paint! Also, close-up of old grill..
