What brand did you end up going with? Been checking out the EBC Ultimax slotted rotors when it comes time to replace the fronts and rears.

Any shudder or noise when you get on the brakes hard?

Did you have to replace (did the OEM wear out?) Are the calibers stock (just painted) or did you replace them too?

During my last oil change, was told they had to be changed soon, i probably could have gotten 64-65,000, but i didn't wanna wear. plus wanted to get before new tires (which are needed too)

Really nice rotors!!!

How could you have such nice/high quality rotors paired with such poor quality RS-A tires? I kid!

If you can, you should get some high quality Michelin or Bridgestone's to pair with those nice bad boy rotors man!

for sho, I need tires, and i definetly not being these stock RS-A. Especially when it looks there are better ones for less than $255 per tire. I some by december or when the snow comes in new england.

Is there anyway I could do this set up with 14" rotors? So I wouldn't have to pay 4k for a big brake kit?

Planning on getting 20" or 21" wheels and I don't care for the space between the edge of the rotor and wheels.

Thanks.

Right now I can't really compare them, cause I need to break them in, i got about 80miles on them, need atleast 500. But so far, they seam softer, which i think may be normal and no squeaks. The guy that installed them, said with any new rotors you put on if you slam on them when there brand new, then the rotors may get warp? ( so i usually use my paddle shifts to help in braking)

Not sure, there is enough space for 14". You may wanna research on 6th Gen, if those cars can do it then i'm sure we can too.

I like them. Every Nissan I owned eventually had warped rotors. My max is okay so far (5,000 miles) but will replace them with ones like these once the OEM's are warped

500 miles seems a bit much to get the pads fully seated. Any new pad + rotor needs maybe 100 miles to seat in normal driving. Definitely don't want to do any panic stops if possible during break-in, however you do want to try a few firm stops from 40mph to zero after installation to get the pad seated in the caliper right off the bat.

Warped rotors typically happen when you have an extremely hot rotor, then lets say you go through a huge rainstorm or car wash. But some rotors (i.e. GM) will warp within a few thousand miles just because they are made from poor materials.

As far as a larger diameter rotor using the stock caliper is concerned, I have not found anything as of yet. I know Baer/Alcon has their EradiSpeed +1 and +2 series rotors, but not sure if they will fit our cars.
