I broke this, need your help!

So I took my max to the dealer and I think they cross threaded one of my lug nuts. When I went to take the nut off, I completely snapped off the lug bolt.

So is this something easy I can fix on my own? I'm a total noob at fixing cars, but I want to learn. How can I fix it?

Or should I just take it back to the dealer?

The pic with the broken bolt is below. Thanks for your help

No big deal, take it back to the dealer and tell them what happened and they should replace it. Make sure to bring in the broken piece with the nut attached to show them. The same thing happened two weeks ago on my Murano when I had new tires installed. The installer changed the stud and I was on my way. FYI if you want to do it the job isn't that bad. You just have to drive out the broken stud and put another in. When you tighten the lug nut it will pull the new one in tight.

yes , you can probably fix it . ur half way there already . you'll need a new stud/wheel lug nut . take ur caliper bolts off , removed rotors . you'll be able to tap broken stud out with a hammer .
^ what he said . or u can just take it to the dealer . depending on who u talk to , they might able to do this for no charge .

Same thing happened to my old Eclipse back in the day. It's really easy to replace it yourself. It took me a little less than an hour.
