Kmoney, I must have missed you posting about it. Is it a simple clean job (lease car)? I might hit you up when the weather gets better to help me make this happen if it alright with you.

I havent checked in my car yet.... but I have done this mod to other cars... chrysler sebring and mazda 6.... you can usually do a jump in the fuse box. Pull out the fuse for the fog lights and find out which prong is coming from the voltage source and which is going to the fogs. Jump a wire from something that is on whenever your running lights are on like 'taillamps' and plug it into the prong from the fuse you just removed that you determined is going to the fogs. This should supply your fog light electrical wiring with juice even when the headlights are not on. Your regular fog light switch should control them still...

Again, I have not checked this out on my car yet so someone correct me if i'm wrong

i read through the other thread that dealt with fogs on with parking lights:

http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...fogs-only.html

i need flip2cho to respond to what his quick work around was

or else have logic05se to upload the diagram as well

i did this rewire in my 98 maxima using this exact tutorial: http://www.vqpower.com/v2/articles.php?article_id=31

but then i just found another how to for the 98 maxima that's easier from the same site:
http://www.vqpower.com/v2/articles.php?article_id=81

I think i'm gonna try out the new/easier way on my 09 because we have no separate corner light which was really really easy to pop out and work with using the 1st how to i did on my 98.

i just want to make sure that i'm not going to fry anything...going to use a voltmeter to test which power wires i need to tap into for the tail light...will this work?

i couldn't wait and didn't want to cut the wires

i have lowbeam and fog light hid kits...so i just swapped around the h11 wires

oem switch:
-------------
headlight light to on: fog lights on
headlight light to on with fog switch light to on: fog lights and headlights on

i always drive with both of them on but now i can have the option to drive around with just the fogs...ghetto...but it works...and temporary until i can get it to work the correct way
