IT'S DONE!!! INSTALLED!

Finally got the springs installed on my MAX!!! Dropped it of in the morning and picked her up this afternoon and it looks GREAT!!! The rear is just a little lower than the front....I'm thinking the rear is effected by the system in the trunk...one 12W7.....I will be getting it aligned tomorrow due to the MAX pulling to the right on the drive home. I have an limitless alignment package purchased from Firestone.....here are the new pics enjoy!

It definitely changed the ride for the better I am loving it so far!!! Just had it aligned at Firestone to correct the pull to the right that I was experiencing......and now it is driving even sweeter!!!

Never had any problems with Eibach, no experience with HRs.

So far so good.....put about 60 miles on her today and she feels goooooooood!!! Hugs the road and is very responsive, but not obnoxious to where you are bouncing all over the road! and of course she looks SWEEEEEET....I found myself looking back every time I got out of the MAX on my way in the building :-)

Has anyone had any luck with the wheel spacers? I have seen a few lowered maximas around me. With the wheels pulled back into the arches it looks awful. I see a few people mentioned the ichiba spacers, are there any other quality brands? What are the downfalls? Will they put undo stress upon the studs or hubs? Will you need new studs to accommodate the extra space?

The springs definitely look great, that and a good sway bar/stabilizer bar upgrade looks like it would make it ride much much nicer and more sure footed on the roads.

EDIT: You do need new studs, looks like they are sold in a kit for the wheel set. Figure about ~$600 for parts?
Springs on sale right now for $320, $23 for the camber kit, and 2x$115 for the spacer kit.

I have the Ichiba V2 spacers that bolt on to the OEM studs and have their own studs. I did 25mm rear and 20mm front and it looks great with no rubbing and didn't need to roll the fenders. It's possible the camber or alignment might be off after install but mine was fine and I didn't need an alignment after my Eibachs or spacers (took it to Nissan they said its fine) and still running great months later. Just torque them right (80 ft/lbs) or you'll have big problems.

FYI I spent about $240 on my eibach's and $220 on my spacers didn't need a camber kit or anything else.

I KNOW THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MAX OR WHAT NOT BUT BEFORE I HAD AN 07 CAMRY SE DROPPED ON BOTH H&R AND EIBACHS AND I MUST SAY H&R WAS DEFINETLY MORE COMFORTABLE IN THE SENSE OF UNEVEN ROADS AND TINY POT HOLES AND THE DROP WAS A LIL BIT MORE EVEN THEN THE EIBACHS BEING LOWER IN THE BACK AND HIGHER IN THE FRONT

Question for you guys, does your Eibach kit come with instructions? I'm pretty good with Suspension work but this will be the first time on my Max. I have access to a lift and all tools also so it will be a lot easier.

I'm just going to have to ride in someone's car with my Wife because There is really no way to tell how they are until you ride over NYC roads with them. The Mrs. is Preggo so I cant have harshness. Just Firm and Smooth. (thats what she said)

it does come with some basics but everything is pretty str8 forward. ive never ever done any mods on a car so it took a friend nd i abou 4-5 hrs for all 4. the front ones were a lil more diffucult bcuz u have to remove the struts, the rear are pretty str8 forward. all u basically need is the spring compressor nd a good socket wrench (or pnuematic drill) for the job.

They do stiffen the ride a little. It will also depend if you get different wheels with a lower profile tire. I only notice it if I am on the highway and go over a small hole etc.

do the stock struts bottom out and do you guys drag the under carriage or scuff the tires any? I want to do it but it's kinda hard to commit to it with only 2600 miles on my '11 thanks!

Sorry to jump onto this Thread but anyone with Teins here? I had them on my Benzo before and loved the drop as well as the handling...never used Eibach or H&R's...but judging from discussion it looks like Eibach is the choice out of the two...still anyone with Teins? Pics? Thanks!

So I installed the eibach pro kit about two weeks ago, it does give it a great height, where it should be stock IMO. However, now after about a week the passenger side makes a pretty noticeable greening noise when going over speedbumps or turning at low speeds. Anyone have something similar happeb or have any ideas on how to fix something like that?

Steps taken so far:
Took said strut off again to make sure it was sitting in the right place

Took to les shwab to diagnose and they found no problems...

Should I take it to the dealer with the eibachs installed or put the stock springs back on first?(warranty)

Thats one of the drawbacks of using stock struts with lowering springs. Theres a good chance your stock struts will fail after a few pot holes or road hazards. The struts were not designed for the lowered strut travel. It gets even worse when u have bigger wheels and lower profile tires.
