10K HID HI/LOW/FOG Setup

I added 10K Hi's today. It's hard to see the 10K Lows and Fogs in these photos because there is still some sunlight out but you can really see the 10K Hi's. Here are some pics.

Thanks bro! Yeah, it's Dark Slate. I definitely won't have a problem seeing down a dark highway.

LOL. Dont drive in the sticks but I do like matching lights. I do however drive to Vegas every month and there is a lot of open road from PHX to Vegas. Plus, you'll know I'm coming.

Car is sick looking bro! I'm looking at the Viper 5902 and tail light tints as well. Did you tint your tails or have them painted? I've been on the fence between the two options, had one shop quote me $200 to have my lights painted with a tinted clear coat and I'm tempted

You gotta have them painted. Once you do that, it will last as long as your painted Maxima. You won't have to worry about fading or anything like that. You can buff and wax over the tail lights just like you would your car. It's the best way to go.

Joey D! A couple more things in the next couple of weeks and then I'll be done for a bit. Get ready though. A few surprises up my sleeve.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate all the love for my "Karma" Maxima.

To answer your question about comparing the stock HIDs to the 10Ks I have, there isn't one. 4300K Stock is yellow and 10K is blueish/purple in color. I think the 10Ks are brighter especially with the 10K highs. There is halogen for the highs stock so when I went to HID, it isn't a far fight. The HIDs are way brighter.

If you took this same picture with the brights of a stock High Beam, you would be able to see the actual headlight. This one, you can't. Plus I think the look is better.

Wait I just realized, so you have HID fogs, low beams, AND high beams? How are those HID high beams working for ya? Don't forget not to blind the crap out of people.

I was thinking of putting in some normal hyper white bulbs for the high beams just because I hate that they're yellowish stock, but seeing the HID high beams now I'm tempted. Where'd you put the ballasts for all these things?

I rarely use the highs but they match everything else. I travel to Vegas a lot and drive the trip really early in the morning to beat out traffic. When on the road trip like that, I use them quite a bit. I will blind people on coming so I'm really conscience about making sure I cut them off as soon as I see oncoming traffic. Nothing will match when it comes to halogens. As far as where I mount the ballasts, the fogs can be mounted right on the underside of the bumper.

I actually already have HID fogs, was curious where you put the ballast for the high beams.

did you had to jack the car up and remove the rims to change the high beam?

I dropped mine. All good though. It made it easier to mount the ballast.
