Maybe it can be easily fixed. A few years ago a run away shopping cart nailed my wifes Murano and put a large dent in the rear quarter panel. I called one of the painless dent remover guys and they was able to push it out and you could not tell where the dent was. I was impressed and worth the $55 he charged to do it.

Remember, it could be worse. About two months ago my son was sideswipped in Chicago in his 10 day old Altima. His first new car, over $4000 in damages and without his car for over three weeks. He said the repairs look great but it will never really be the same.

Yes, the vehicle that his my son's car was traveling at a high rate of speed and hit another car also. No license number and all he got was the color of the car. At night and in the rain. Thank God no one was injured or killed.

take a breath, still give her a detail ...then call a paintless dent repair company for the dent(usually $75 per panel) and after that contact a body shop to have the scratch polyester primer filled, sanded, blended and buffed! you'll be ok, bro

I know exactly how you feel. I only had my car only 3 weeks and when getting off work saw that someone side swiped my Maxima in the work parking lot. Of course they did not leave a note and there were not any witnesses or camera's to find the guilty party. Luckily the damage was only $1200, could have been worse. I filed a police report and my insurance passed it off as a uninsured motorist claim, so my deductible was reduced. Just got it back from the shop last week as a matter of fact.

Terrible, people suck man. I always sit near a window facing the car and keep it in my sight whenever possible so I can watch it like when I'm at dinner or lunch. I tense when people just walk by the Maximusaurus Rex. Like a hunter I'm ready to pounce!

I feel your pain. I have like 3 dents on my car made by people opening doors from cars parked next to mine at grocery stores. I hope you it doesn't cost you that $500 to get it fixed. I guess you didn't get the culprit. If so, I hope he pays.

Last summer on a Friday I left my engine running near a bus stop (not in the way), and ran inside for less than a minute to grab some papers. When I pulled up, there was one lady by the bus stop and she gave me the nastiest look, not exactly sure why. When I ran back outside there was gum in that crevice between the headlight and the front fender (WHO DOES THAT?!?!?). The lady was nowhere to be found. I was so fumed I staged the whole thing all over again the next Friday. Showed up at the exact same time, parked in the exact same spot, left the engine running, sure enough she was there with that stupid look on her face again, and I ran in again. This time when I got inside I disappeared, counted to 3, then looked right back out the window. Sure enough I caught that degenerate lady putting her gum on my car again. I bolted outside yelling at her and wound up grabbing the gum off of my car and put it in her ratty hair. I drove off sticky fingered, adrenaline filled, but warm inside. That lady's birth was payback for the sins of man, but I think I evened the scoreboard.

LOL!!!! I can't help but laugh and fall to the floor. Man, this is super funny. Could you please do this a third time and catch it on tape? I would pay to see the video, lol.

This is really funny. But glad you did what you did. I bet she would be scared of Maximas, period! They speak and call their owners if someone messes with them. I bet that is what she is thinking now, for she cannot imagine how you caught her right-handed.

Haha unfortunately I doubt it could be pulled off again. I'm sure she learned her lesson and will never show up again. I wish you guys could see this lady too she looks like somebody farted in a shoe.

Glad you're getting it fixed, our cars are too nice to run around beat up lol. JoeyD that's too funny about the gum... I once pulled into a 7-11 with tight parking, people were moving around and this altima was just holding the brake in the middle of the lot deciding where to go. I drove up on the side and parked, kind of making my own parking spot. Me and my buddy ran into the store and when I got out I saw a girl who had just finished hanging a sign on the phonebooth next to my car getting back into the banged up altima with her boyfriend. My buddy says, "oh ****, what happened here." I run around the car, worried as hell to look at the passenger side and this ***** wrapped gum around my door handle. Luckily the sign she posted was for an apartment-for-rent. I ripped down the flier got back into my car, called the number and asked where the apartment was. Without thinking the stupid girl gives me the address and I say, "good ill be right there and I'm going to wrap your whole house in gum and call the town supervisor about your illegal apartment!" She had nothing to say and hung right up. Classic. LOL. I guess we're very protective of our cars lmao.
