Hole melted into leather seat

Woke up today to find this nice hole in my rear leather seat. I had a black box sitting in the back for the last two days and the good Florida heat did its magic. Stupid on my part obviously.

I'm wondering if $180 to $205 (my current repair quote) is reasonable to have this fixed.

Any thoughts?

Bummer looks like a cigarette burn. depending on the section that needs to be replaced, that price seems a tad bit high but if they do good work and guarantee the leather match then I would go for it. Where are you having it repaired? Dealership?

It's the back seat...get a patch on it, and forget about it for a few months. Then if it's still bothering you get it fixed then, not now while it's burning a hole in your mind...

I would try one of those cheapo leather repair kits. Considering its the back seat you can probably do a good enough job that no one but you will notice unless they are looking for it. Try Amazon....

Ya I'd patch it unless it started ripping and getting worse. You'll never know its there though after patching ..good thing its the backseat instead of front!
